Reporting to the laboratory manager, the technician takes part in all the technical stages of the High Throughput Sequencing service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The position will be based at the Institut Pasteur (Paris XV). Occasionally, he\/she may be called upon to carry out missions on the various platforms operated by the company in the Paris region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  • Technical versatility within a team of senior laboratory technicians.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Involvement in all production processes, from receiving DNA samples, to loading the NextSeq500, NS2000 high-throughput sequencer, to preparing sequencing libraries.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Critical interpretation of the results obtained at each stage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Participation in the quality management and quality control processes involved in all Pasteur protocols.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Use of a computerized production management and monitoring tool (LIMS).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Use of various software programs (Excel, robotics interface, and software for controlling various devices).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Candidates must hold a DUT, BTS or professional degree in laboratory science and technology, in particular Molecular Biology and\/or Biotechnology. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    He\/she will need to master molecular biology techniques (handling nucleic acids, PCR, quantitative PCR, following technical protocols).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Experience in high-throughput sequencing and genotyping would be a plus. However, a motivated beginner who has completed internships in molecular biology will be accepted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
