IntegraGen, a company specializing in the genomics of cancer and rare genetic diseases, carries out interpretable genomic analyses for academic and private laboratories. We are looking for a passionate and dynamic bioinformatician to join our innovative team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge solutions.
Your Missions :
As a member of our Bioinformatics team, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing new algorithms for various genomic analyses. You will be a key contact at the crossroads of three essential areas:
- Scientific communication Work with scientific teams to guide new analyses.
- IT Infrastructure Work closely with IT teams to optimize algorithm code and infrastructure.
- Application development : Cooperate with developers to present usable results to end customers.
Challenges :
- Understanding bioinformatics workflows in production.
- Drawing up specifications for the development of new analysis pipelines and software developed in-house.
- Technological and scientific monitoring of genomic and transcriptomic data processing, including benchmarks to evaluate and compare software solutions.
- Continuous improvement of internal tools and analysis pipelines.
- Development and implementation of strategies to improve the efficiency of existing processes.
Working environments :
You will work in a healthcare environment that respects strict standards of quality, reliability of results and security of information. You will use the latest technologies in bioinformatics and actively participate in the dissemination of best practices within IntegraGen. Profile required:
Technical skills
- Master in Bioinformatics
- Scripted programming skills: Python, Bash (Unix environment), R.
- Solid experience in NGS data analysis.
- In-depth knowledge of human genetics algorithms and tools, particularly in oncology and transcriptomics (GATK, Picard, STAR...).
- Understanding of containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Expertise in versioning management: Git, GitHub.
- Field experience with Scrum methods (a plus).
Non-technical skills
- Structured communication in English and French.
- Ability to popularize scientific issues.
- Autonomy and respect for deadlines.
- Team spirit and dynamism.
